Pandora’s Box

The installation Pandora’s Box (or the Promethean gap) connects a personal story, the myth of Prometheus, and 20th-century philosophical investigations into the relationship of human beings and modern technology by thinkers such as Günther Anders or Jean Baudrillard. Here, we are following the latter:

“The absolute rule is to give back more than you were given. Never less, always more. The absolute rule of thought is to give back the world as it was given to us — unintelligible. And, if possible, to render it a little more unintelligible.” – Jean Baudrillard, The Perfect Crime
